A plethora of software providers now offer solutions designed to assess company culture, track employee engagement levels, provide training, and solicit feedback, among a variety of other talent and culture management related services. These solutions range in price and capability, from one-off solutions to integrated platforms, and typically employ some type of gamification to encourage employee participation. Spend some time researching the best solution for your company’s needs and budget, and reap the rewards of improved employee engagement and ease of response to employee needs.
- Data Analytics
Data analytics is a hot field at the moment, and HR is not immune. Many of the talent management software solutions mentioned above offer HR departments the ability to collect and analyze employee data to gain insight into workforce trends, common workplace issues, and performance levels. This data can then be used to make predictions and identify potential solutions that will improve productivity and reduce conflict.
- Secure Cloud Solutions
Moving to a secure cloud storage system allows organizations to manage all of their HR related documents – payroll data, emergency contact forms, benefits forms, and OSHA compliance information, for example – in a format that is easy to access and maintain. Physical filing systems are time-consuming to work with and take up valuable office space, and are not very secure from tampering or break-ins. Transitioning to a cloud platform will save time, provide enhanced security controls, and make it easier for your HR department to keep track of all their documents.
